River Cultures Festival

River Cultures

River Cultures, based in East London, began life in August 2002 as an annual Summer festival in the Isle of Dogs that offered local young people the opportunity to showcase their Summer work.

Over the years we have developed a range of creative partnerships with FIPA (Foundation for Indian Performing Arts), SEAarts (South East Asian Arts), The Meridian Society (promoting Chinese culture), Emergency Exit Arts (participatory outdoor arts) and UKCCA (carnival arts).

We have built free, accessible internet archives as an integral part to many of our projects for online visitors to enjoy and experience.
